The decline in regional population
could be explained by the closure of the Plattsburgh AFB and loss of local secondary
employment;
The link from Plattsburgh to
Burlington is important to the regional economy;
The proximity of Montreal Durval
airport is a serious problem in trying to build local aviation;
It is important to document the
value of a regional airport to this study;

wants one airport;
No rail service has run from Malone
east to Plattsburgh the Montreal Secondary goes into Canada;
Intermodal Rail Truck
- is important at PARC and to Ogdensburg;
Amtrak experiences delays at the
border crossing because clearance is not made in Montreal or stateside;
Data from ferry service should be
included to the extent available passenger and truck;
At the ferry terminals road access
is important;
A road connection to a new
