The following 14 technical memoranda have been produced:
Each of these subject areas were identified as important areas to research and analyze for the purpose of documenting the linkage between economic development and transportation in the North Country. The rationale for selecting these specific areas is as follows. First, we felt it necessary to understand the overall economic and demographic conditions in the North Country, comparing the regions performance with other parts of the US (tech memo 1). Second, we looked at the regions ability to compete in the field of economic development and recruitment, specifically when viewed from those in the industry (tech memo 2). Third, we evaluated specific sectors of the North Country region to determine their strengths and weaknesses (tech memos 3-8). Finally, we reviewed each of the specific modes that serve the North Country to establish the level of service they provide to the North Country (tech memos 9-13).
