Alex A. MacKinnon was appointed as a member of the Authority Board by the St. Lawrence County Legislature on November 14, 2011.
Mr. MacKinnon is a graduate of the College of New Jersey and is originally from Washington Crossing New Jersey. He moved to the Fowler area in 1972 and operated a dairy farm with family, retiring in 2007. Mr. MacKinnon currently works with Lacy Realty in Gouverneur.
Mr. MacKinnon served 20 years on the Gouverneur Board of Education before being elected to the St. Lawrence County Legislature in 1993. During his tenure with the St. Lawrence County Legislature, Mr. MacKinnon has chaired most of the standing committees, many ad hoc committees, and served as Board Vice Chairman and Chairman.
Mr. MacKinnon has served as a member of the Authority Board since November 14, 2011.
