Douglas L. Murray was appointed as a member of the Authority by Jefferson County Board of Legislators, Watertown, New York on January 9, 2008.
Douglas L. Murray is a semi-retired dairy farmer near Watertown, New York. Presently, Mr. Murray serves on the Jefferson County Agricultural Development Board, the Jefferson County Farmland Protection Board, and the Jeff-Lewis Workforce Investment Board.
In the past, Mr. Murray has been a member of the Jefferson County Artificial Breeders Co-op, Jefferson County Farm Bureau, Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust, Hospice of Jefferson County Boards and is a Trustee of Jefferson Community College and Watertown Savings Bank.
Mr. Murray holds a B.S. Degree from the New York State College of Agriculture at Cornell.
Mr. Murray has served as a member of the Authority Board since July 14, 1994.
