James P. Fayle was appointed as a member of the Authority by Governor David Paterson, New York State, on May 12, 2008.
Jim Fayle is a Regional Director for Empire State Development Corporation, New York State's primary economic development entity. As Regional Director for Central New York and Co-Regional Director for the North Country, Mr. Fayle is responsible for promoting economic development initiatives spanning eight counties across New York State.
Prior to joining Empire State Development in May 2008, Mr. Fayle was the CEO of Jefferson County Job Development Corporation and the Industrial Development Agency, working for those agencies for almost a decade.
Mr. Fayle is an IEDC certified economic developer and holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Fayle has served as a member of the Authority Board since May 12, 2008.
