On July 19, 2011, Empire State Development and the Research Foundation of SUNY, on behalf of the college at Plattsburgh, announced the launch of the Adirondack-Champlain Telemedicine Information Network (ACTION) in the North Country. The Development Authority won the bid to construct the $9.8 million fiber optic network through the Adirondack Park. The Authority plans to bid the project in August. Click Here for more information.
