The Authority board meeting which took place on 9/13/2011 approved three requests for funding assistance. The Authority approved a $97,725 loan for E. J. Noble Hospital to assist in on-site infrastructure improvements. The Authority approved $250,000 for Florelle Tissue Corporation. The company is a new start-up paper company which will be located in the former Brownville Paper Mill. The Authority also approved $20,000 in funding assistance for the North Country Procurement Technical Assistance Center to assist in continuing to provide area businesses with help in competing for government contracts.
