Pole Placement Construction Services
The Development Authority of the North Country (DANC) has received a federal stimulus grant as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). We will be using that grant to expand the Open Access Telecom Network of Northern New York by constructing a new optical fiber link between Malone New York and Plattsburgh New York to provide network connectivity between the two cities. This network expansion will be located primarily on State Route 11 and State Route 190 (Military Turnpike) from Malone to Plattsburgh New York. This first phase will place poles, anchors and guy wires to support an optical fiber expansion located in Franklin and Clinton Counties in Northern New York. Bidders lump sum cost should be based on construction drawings and field review.
RFP Proposals are to be provided in hard copy format and delivered in a sealed envelope and must be received by DANC no later than 1:30 PM on June 1, 2012.
