Licensed professional staff works with municipalities to help them understand their technical challenges and reach cost-effective solutions. Program management, asset planning, brownfield redevelopment, and GIS development are some of the ways the Authority works with partner communities.

Business funding programs help spur economic development, leverage private investment and create and retain local jobs. The Authority has a number of programs in its toolbox to help communities meet housing and redevelopment challenges as well.

The regional landfill provides efficient, environmentally responsible disposal of non- hazardous waste for the tri-county region, in accordance with NYS DEC regulations, and promotes the recycling, reuse and reduction of waste in order to extend the life of the landfill.
